A person registering to vote must be:
18 years of age or older
A United States Citizen
Domiciled in the town where the person seeks to vote
You will need to provide proof of your identity, age, citizenship, and domicile to register to vote.
A driver’s license or non-driver ID from any state is proof of identity and age. If you have NH driver’s license with your current Nelson address this will prove your residency. If not, you will need to prove that you reside in the town of Nelson by providing something like a utility bill with your Nelson address. A birth certificate, U.S. Passport or naturalization document is proof of citizenship.
